TECO History Display

In 2019, Thermal Energy Corporation (TECO) commissioned a wall display to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its district energy system. Located next to the boardroom and executive offices, this impressive display spans 70 feet across two walls, using facts, quotes, and artifacts to tell the rich history of the company, its employees, and partner institutions. TECO proudly makes it a regular stop on their plant tours.

Content development was led by Westerlund Communications, with creative direction, design, and photo selection by Amy Dritz. In addition to highlighting the company’s history and the system’s growth, we wanted to acknowledge the unique relationship between TECO and the Texas Medical Center (TMC) that it serves. The final timeline shows the technological advances and parallel growth in services between the two organizations over the decades.
