Real-time Tools for a Better Transit Ride

As riders increasingly relied on smartphones for navigation, Metro Transit needed better real-time information. I partnered with Transit Information and IT to modernize physical displays and mobile features, redesigning arrival screens and shaping new route planning tools, including a live bus map that showed riders exactly where buses were. These updates solved a common frustration—uncertainty about whether a bus had passed or was delayed—allowing riders to make quick, informed decisions.
