In 2017, Carleton College began major campus construction to install a new geothermal system and upgrade aging heating and cooling infrastructure as part of its Utility Master Plan. To keep students, staff, and visitors informed—and to show how these efforts supported the goal of becoming “Carbon Free by 2050”—my partners and I at Humbleweed Creative developed an identity and toolkit of graphics, charts, icons, and imagery for the 5-year project and beyond. These visuals were applied across construction signage, banners, handouts, web pages, and presentations.
My contributions included designing several charts and infographics.
Co-designed with Rita Penrod and Shannon Rahkola.
